Forever Stars, Serenity Garden

The winter has been tough on the Serenity Garden and there is a lot of work to be done to get it sparkling again. Benches need varnishing and wheelchair accessible planters need to be built. The site also includes an old Victorian Paddling pool which needs some hard graft to get rid of the moss and restore the stones to their former glory!

The Ridge Adventure Playground

14+ project ‼️

Both the inside and outside of the centre need a lot of love and attention. Nottingham RockCorps volunteers will be painting the games room and lounge areas, clearing weeds and bushes, restoring benches and completing general maintenance to make the site welcoming and engaging for all who use it.

Cotgrave Community Garden

The garden needs reviving for the spring. There are woodchip paths to be laid, benches to be painted and some bright and colourful murals to be created on water buts and sheds!

Pulp Friction

This is the project for anyone who loves organising! We are going full ‘Sort Your Life Out’ and sorting out loads of kitchen equipment, craft storage and events gear to bring some calm to the centre.

Oliver Hind Youth Club

We are returning to Oliver Hind Youth Club to finish what we started! The garden has been cleared, but we need to add some plants, add colour and build benches to create a peaceful, fun and loved space.

Community Recording Studios

We are going to be giving the recording studios a big refresh! The garden and sports pitch needs weeding and the benches need painting. Inside, we will be turning rooms into a musician’s haven – painting the band recording room and renovating a photography studio! You might even spot a surprise guest volunteer...

Stonebridge City Farm

Volunteers have been hard at work on the farm - but there is still lots more to do! We’re giving the farm a full refresh — clearing and revitalising the garden areas after a hard winter, painting the animal fences, renovating the old shop with paint and fun murals, and getting the whole area ready to welcome new visitors for the spring and summer seasons!
